Exceptionally many new registrations in NOR 03.12.2008
The NOR register has experienced a high rise in the number of new registrations of all types of vessel
In February 2004 a total of 27 vessels were registered.
In 2008, 73 new vessels were registered in the same period.
42 of these were pleasure vessels between 7-10 meters, not subject to mandatory registration.
Increasingly more owners appreciate NOR as a safe alternative for registration.
Registration in NOR provides legally established ownership, security in connection with purchase and sale as well as the opportunity to mortgage the vessel.
