Meeting with the Greek minister of finance and shipping 06.07.2010
Prior to the opening of the Greek shipping exhibition at Posidonia, the Norwegian delegation led by State Secretary Mrs. Rikke Lind met with the Greek finance- and shipping minister Mrs. Louka Katseli in Athens.
Norway proposed co-operation between Greek and Norwegian maritime industries, especially with regard to environmental technology.
Together with Mrs. Anita Malmedal, Assistant Managing Director of the Ship Registers NIS/NOR and Mr. Olav Akselsen, Director General of Shipping and Navigation, Mrs. Rikke Lind will promote the Norwegian International Register-NIS to foreign shipowners.
The NIS and the Norwegian Maritime Directorate is also represented with a stand at the exhibition.
