American Bureau of Shipping-ABS 02.27.2009
The classification society has been delegated authority for inspection of offshore vessels flying the Norwegian flag.
The agreement was signed by ABS and The Norwegian Maritime Authority Thursday 26 February 2009. As a result, ABS now has the same inspection authority for floating constructions as the other classification authorities approved by Norway.
